The Flying Fabler is a live storytelling event, performed by author, artist, and performer Clare Fog. Clare has been writing and performing stories for many years, although she made her debut as The Flying Fabler in 2017, adapting the Japanese form of Kamishibai storytelling with European mask, improv, and music techniques. ABOUT THE PERFORMER:
Clare Fog received an M.A. in Film Producing from Kinoeyes European Movie Masters, as well as a B.F.A. in Acting from Point Park Conservatory. In addition to writing screenplays, children’s books, and graphic novels, Clare has worked as both an improv teacher and performer. She has also taught English in Italy and Japan, as well as served in the Americorps in Los Angeles. When she’s not producing feature films, she enjoys working with children and keeping the tradition of storytelling alive.
